YogaCoreCycle offers a completely holistic approach to your mind and body. Your health, fitness, and overall wellbeing are supported through a broad spectrum of physical activity, breathwork and mindful meditation practices in a dedicated and natural environment with life-giving delicious food.

Samahita’s signature program is designed to offer your body and mind an integrated yoga and functional fitness approach. This occurs at a level of activity and rejuvenation covering all aspects of human functioning across yoga asana, both dynamic and restorative, meditation and breathwork, core strength and cardio workouts. The program encourages you to achieve optimal health, not only physically but also emotionally and mentally.

You have the option to take all 5 hours of classes every day or choose as per your needs. Conceived and developed by Paul Dallaghan, Samahita’s founder, with input by athlete trainer and movement expert, Arielle Nash-Degagne, this program has grown out of our long-term (over 40 years) experience in the world of yoga, meditation, health and fitness.

YOGA

Establishes the foundations and key points that support the body & breath and applied in our Dynamic Asana Classes.

Focuses on standing poses, seated bending and twisting to deepen our exploration of the foundations and key points in practice
TUESDAYHeart-Centered Vinyasa-Asana
A softer approach between our more challenging Dynamic days exploring a variety of postures that gently allow the heart to open.
WEDNESDAYDynamic Core Vinyasa: Strengthening
Based on our expertise in original ashtanga vinyasa, this class refines it through a focus on strength work and key detail in the flow and standing sequence balanced by removal of unnecessary heavy movements in our seated postures so the quality of asana is experienced.
THURSDAYDynamic Core Vinyasa: Opening

FRIDAYMind-Centered Vinyasa-Asana
a slow-pace that emphasizes your inner awareness and focus on the breath as you explore and experience each body-mind posture, understand the key points & principles and move contemplatively.
SATURDAYHeart-Centered Vinyasa-Asana
A softer approach between our more challenging Dynamic days exploring a variety of postures that gently allow the heart to open.


CORE

Get in touch with your deep core muscles, supporting your back, pelvis and spine. Enjoy fun, dynamic exercises integrating foundational body-based core exercises with top equipment including TRX, Bosu, UGI, Sliders, Kettle Bells, Grids, Toners, Flexbands, Resistance bands and Redondo Balls.

CORE FOUNDATIONAL STRENGTH CLASSES

There core developmental classes that either mix with asana or stand-alone and only use body-based approaches without equipment of any kind. This class helps identify the psoas muscle, work the key integral core muscles, and continue with classic grouping core exercises that amplify basic strength and stability. One can expect to work on:

  • Pelvic tilts
  • Sacro-iliac joint stabilizer twists
  • Pre-dishes
  • Standard dishes
  • Leg-raise dishes
  • Back body lifts
  • Plank variations
  • Mountain climbers
  • Yogi burpees
CORE INTEGRATED STRENGTH CLASSES

We offer group classes that cover key functional fitness principles in a high-intensity training format. Afternoon core classes incorporate fun, music-based, dynamic exercises designed to increase strength and freedom in functional movement patterns, including rotational strength in the core, hips, shoulders and glutes, by integrating foundational body-based core exercises with top of the range functional equipment including:

  • TRX
  • Bosu
  • UGI
  • Sliders
  • Kettlebells
  • Grids
  • Toners
  • Flexbands
  • Stability balls
  • Resistance bands
  • Redondo balls

CYCLE

Enjoy a direct beach view while indoor cycling (aka spinning). This mega cardio workout is fun, fat burning, sweat pumping, and fitness building. Fortunately, you control the resistance and manage the intensity on our Schwinn’s Carbon Blue Cycle Bikes. Join us in the morning for a silent-sunrise-cycle. In the afternoon, it’s a music-infused upbeat ride.

SELF-SILENT-CYCLE CLASS

This self-led indoor cycling class is the first daily activity offered on our schedule, in a silent setting overlooking beautiful Leam Sor beach. Tune into your breath or the sounds of nature instead of music, decreasing distraction and increasing your ability to stay in the present moment. The format we recommend is based on H.I.I.T. (High-Intensity Interval Training) principles where each participant determines their own level of intensity. Beginning with a light warm-up and progressing through alternating high and low intervals and winding down with a yoga-inspired cooldown. You will leave feeling energized and ready to start your day.

SAMA-FUN-CYCLE CLASS

This afternoon class, guided by an instructor, is an innovative, beat-based ride designed to build leg strength and power while improving cardiovascular fitness. Music makes it Fun!!

MEDITATION & BREATHWORK

We offer you guided daily meditation and breathwork classes as part of the YogaCoreCycle program. Integral to your overall health is inner peace, mental calm, better focus, and improved awareness.
