Originally developed as an exercise programme for injured dancers and soldiers, Pilates is a type of exercise designed to strengthen the body and deliver long, lean muscles. The goal is to strengthen the body, particularly emphasizing core strength. Much like yoga, Pilates also emphasizes your posture and helps you improve balance and flexibility.
