I recently returned from the Mindful Weight-Loss retreat at Miraval Resort & Spa and I am seriously impressed. As the retreat is only four days I opted to stay for an extra few to really get the most out of my time there and I'm glad I did as it's simply amazing. There is just so much to do there, plenty of activities to suit people of all abilities and after a hard day spent working out it was such a delight to have the spa credit to spend on a massage to soothe the body. I can't recommend this place enough, the consultations left me feeling so motivated and I have a clear plan on what to do now I'm back home to keep up my progress.
I visited Miraval Resort & Spa in hopes of shedding a little weight in time for summer and I achieved just that. While the programme may only be a few days long, there's so much packed in that you are still able to achieve such great resorts. I loved that this was an all encompassing approach to weight loss, here they look at your diet, exercise regime, and emotional state and come up with solutions that you can even continue back home. Being in the middle of the desert was incredible too, I loved the outdoor activities that really allowed you to reconnect with nature as well as getting you active. I would fully recommend Miraval to anyone who has been struggling with weight loss as it has made such a difference in my life.
I've been feeling incredibly stressed out lately and knew I had to do something about it so I decided to visit Miraval Resort & Spa for their Mindful Stress Management programme. Mindful is right because this retreat really addresses everything that is going on in your mind and helps change your way of thinking to rid yourself of stress, and prevent it from coming back too! As well as the counselling to deal with the emotions, the access to the exercise classes and spa credit were a very pleasant addition, giving me a physical release for all my pent up tension. This is such a great retreat that really does make a lot of difference.
