While studying at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India, Akhil Balachandran also practised at the local hospital and graduated from the university with a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery. He completed his training as a family doctor at the Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital. As deputy manager at the Santhigiri Healthcare and Research Organisation, he coordinated training on post-stroke and neurological diseases. Most recently, Akhil was a senior Ayurvedic consultant and yoga teacher at the Centrum Ajurwedy Szczecin in Poland for three years.

Private GP Dr Alexandra Koller’s special interests include holistic and integrative medical analysis and treatments. Her work complements the Mandira’s Holistic Ayurveda services. Thanks to a synergistic relationship with the latest findings of science and medicine, she is able to take new restorative and preventive medical approaches that reach far beyond the horizon of conventional treatment methods.


Traditional Ayurveda Expert I Psychotherapist I Mind Coach

Malini Häuslmeier is a traditional Ayurveda specialist. Trained in India, she gained practice experience at a number of Ayurvedic centres in the subcontinent. The Ayurveda expert has been working in Austria for the last 35 years. She is also a practising psychotherapist who trained in both India and Europe, as well as a mind coach specialising in nutrition, lifestyle and everyday life choices.


Yoga Teacher I Yengar Specialist I Ayurvedic Health Counsellor

Michael Dalcher completed his yoga teacher training at the Milwaukee Yoga Center, in the USA, where he also taught. He also trained as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. During his sessions, the Holistic Ayurveda expert and yoga teacher focuses primarily on Iyengar Yoga – a form of yoga that found early popularity in the west.
