Pressure Points for Digestive Issues

19/04/2020, Chiva Som

With many of us spending the majority of the working week sitting in an office chair, we often end up suffering not only from muscle tension all over the body but also digestive problems such as constipation, bloating and diarrhoea. There are several causes of digestive issues which are mostly associated with a high intake of unhealthy food.

However, these digestive issues can be solved by simply adjusting our behaviour. Begin by adding more fibre in each meal, chewing more effectively before swallowing and increasing the amount of physical activity you do each week. Abdominal massages have also been seen as a highly effective way to rebalance and stimulate intestinal function for more effective digestion and enhanced food absorption. If you do not have the time to receive a traditional Chinese Medicine massage, there are also 5 acupressure points on face at home to stimulate your digestive system. By holding each point 10 seconds and do it every day in the morning and evening to revitalize your own body function.
