A Medical Boost Of Energy22/01/2021, Dr Benedetto-Reisch, Medical Director, Lanserhof Group
The guiding principle of Lanserhof is its holistic approach. This also applies to our infusion therapy, of course, as it allows me to provide the body instantly with vitamins and nutrients in the required dosage. But first I will look at the person.
What are their eating habits?
What does their everyday schedule look like?
What kind of lifestyle do they pursue?
Do they exercise a lot? Or not at all?
Sometimes the initial interview is enough to identify a deficiency. A subsequent blood examination will bring certainty and provides the basis for therapy. I will then compile the supplements, tailored to the individual needs. A lot of people have higher needs these days. This is caused by an increase in functional and inflammatory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and food intolerances, especially when people are exhausted, for example due to illness. Or when they are subjected to sustained stress. Even if people exercise a lot, the increased need for electrolytes might not be met.
When we administer infusion therapy, we spare ourselves the detour via the gastrointestinal tract, which might be disturbed already; instead, we take the direct route into the bloodstream, which enables immediate absorption of the substances in all cells. We integrate infusion therapy into general treatment at Lanserhof. If one of our guests suffers from latent magnesium deficiency - for - example due to excessive coffee consumption - he or she would usually experience severe headaches on the second day of their stay. To prevent this from happening, we address this beforehand with an infusion. This means our patients are better able to receive their treatment.
I recommend taking Vitamin C and Zinc to strengthen the immune system, especially in the winter. Vitamin D also helps as a precaution. Anything that would go beyond this is part of an overall concept.
