Hidden away in the mountains yet overlooking the ocean in the remote and unspoilt north-east corner of the island, the property has benefitted greatly from a recent major refurbishment and now features 96 warmly decorated rooms and suites alongside its standout feature – the FX Mayr Centre.
Founded by the physicians Dr. Alfred Milz and K. Matthias Rolle, the FX Mayr Centre has developed into one of the leading exponents of Mayr medicine, which states that clean guts are the route to improved overall health and wellbeing. Following a detailed medical consultation, your gut will be cleansed the Mayr way - via diet, exercise and lifestyle changes. These medically supervised detox programmes produce great results but are not for the faint-hearted, so if you would prefer something a little gentler then OCEANO also offers a range of other wellness programmes & treatments such as yoga, weight loss and thalassotherapy, which harnesses the natural healing power of the nearby ocean.
When not undergoing treatments, guests can enjoy the property’s various amenities, which include saunas, a gym, yoga studio and tennis courts, plus there’s also great hiking and surfing nearby too.
