Finca Cortesin is a spectacular independently-owned hotel, golf and spa resort set in the rolling hills between Marbella and Sotogrande, flanked by the Casares Mountains and with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coastline.
The resort was built and designed in the style of a classic Andalusian ‘finca’ by renowned architects Roger Torras and Ignacio Sierra. Built around two principle courtyards of palatial proportions, the hotel comprises 67 suites with lofty four-metre-high ceilings and ranging from an impressive 50m² to 180m² in size. Its fresh, yet grand design is inspired by traditional Spanish architecture and gives every area a big, bright and luxuriously spacious feel that is otherwise so rare in Europe.
Their 2,200m² Spa is home to thermal baths, a state-of-the-art fitness centre with personal trainers, a 25m heated indoor saltwater pool, three thermal areas, a Turkish bath and relaxation area and Spain’s first ‘Snow Cave’. There is also an ARANĪ Yoga & Meditation Centre, which offers expert treatments and a variety of different yoga practises, including traditional Hatha yoga, ‘Slow Flow’ and ‘Power’ Vinyāsa, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga and Kundalini, as well as meditation and mat-based Pilates sessions.
For sport lovers, there are tennis courts and also a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course, which was ranked as one of Spain’s finest by prestigious Golf Digest magazine.

JUNIOR SUITE
The spacious Junior Suites comprise 52 sqm and boast a 4m high ceiling. The 12 sqm bathroom is finished in Travertine marble and features a bathtub, walk-in rain shower cubicle, twin vanities and a separate WC. Each suite benefits from a private patio or terrace. The suite includes daily A la Carte breakfast in our El Jardín de Lutz restaurant, king-size bed, luxury amenities, freshly hand-cut flowers placed in the room upon arrival, LCD 42” flat screen TV, high-speed wireless and wired internet connection, in-room safe.
EXECUTIVE SUITE
Each Executive Suite is unique, boasting a surface area of between 73 sqm and 97 sqm, 4m high ceilings and a separate lounge. Some include a kitchenette and guest WC. The bathroom, measuring between 16 sqm and 23 sqm, is finished in Travertine marble and features a bathtub, walk-in rain shower cubicle, twin vanities and a separate WC. The majority of the suites offer a porch and private garden or terrace with sweeping views of the golf course, gardens or rolling Andalusian mountains. The suites include daily A la Carte breakfast in our El Jardín de Lutz restaurant, king-size bed, high-speed wireless and wired Internet connection.

FAMILY SUITE
Family Suite (two connecting rooms) : This beautiful and spacious two bedroom suite’s size is 120 m2: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, sitting room and terrace. You have one main door that brings you to a small entrance with two different doors, one to an Executive Suite and the other one to a Superior Room/Junior Suite. We can choose to activate the electronic key system in the main door or in each of the separate doors. You can inform us about which option suits you better. This suite includes daily A la Carte breakfast in our El Jardín de Lutz restaurant, king-size bed, high-speed wireless and a wired internet connection.
POOL SUITE
With an incredibly spacious 80 sqm and 4m high ceiling, these exclusive suites offer both a generous, individual living room and a sumptuous bedroom to provide you with the perfect private haven in which to relax and unwind. Each suite boasts an impressive 60 sqm terrace and private swimming pool. The 18 sqm bathroom is finished in Travertine marble and incorporates a bathtub, walk-in rain shower cubicle, twin vanities and a separate WC. The suite includes daily A la Carte breakfast in our El Jardín de Lutz restaurant, king-size bed, high-speed wireless and wired Internet connection, in-room safe.
CORTESIN SUITE
With an incredibly spacious 180 sqm and 4m high ceiling, these exclusive suites offer both a generous, individual living room and a sumptuous bedroom to provide you with the perfect private haven in which to relax and unwind. The 18 sqm bathroom is finished in Travertine marble and incorporates a bathtub, walk-in rain shower cubicle, twin vanities and a separate WC. This suite includes daily A la Carte breakfast in our El Jardín de Lutz restaurant, 2 king-size beds, complimentary high-speed wireless internet and a wired internet connection.
The first striking feature of Finca Cortesin’s spa is its impressive size. Spanning 2,200m², The Spa is home to thermal baths, a fitness centre with personal trainers and kitted out with the latest Artis by Technogym equipment, tennis and yoga instructors (upon request), a 25m heated indoor saltwater pool, three thermal areas – each with their own sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation area – in addition to Spain’s first ‘Snow Cave’. Senior therapists from Thailand, Bali, Sri Lanka and, of course, Spain, provide guests with memorable treatments, ensuring a truly bespoke and authentic experience. There are 10 treatment rooms complete with heated floors and massage beds, and one double treatment suite for romantic getaways with its own Roman bath area. Four treatment rooms are located in an exclusive, solely Thai area prepared specifically for Oriental treatments, based on millenary techniques from different Asian countries whose primary objective is to relieve stress and provide deep relaxation and wellness. EL JARDIN DE LUTZ
This restaurant offers guests al fresco dining on a spectacular terrace with views of the Mediterranean Sea and manicured gardens, filled with centuries-old olive trees. Executive Head Chef Lutz Bösing masterfully weds classic Spanish food to modern cooking techniques for a truly unique dining experience. The restaurant setting is relaxed, yet elegant, with tall ceilings, clay tiled floors, antiques and Portuguese painted tiles.

Head chef, Luis Olarra presents in a unique setting his own idea of Asian cuisine based on Japanese cuisine, in combination with flavours from other gastronomic cultures.

Don Giovanni serves every Italian creature comfort under the leadership of Sicilian Chef Andrea Tumbarello. He skilfully brings an authentic taste of Italy to Finca Cortesin, preparing recipes that pay homage to century-old traditions while cleverly weaving in ingenuity and innovation. Don Giovanni also bears two Suns in the Spanish Repsol Guide and is one of the finest Italian restaurants in Spain combining tradition and innovative ingenuity in the kitchen.
BLUE BAR
The Blue Bar, located in the hotel lounge, offers a comprehensive menu, including a delightful selection of Spanish tapas, sandwiches, salads, and fruit, as well as a wide range of teas. Classic cocktails and drinks are also served in their patio lounge, in their Moroccan and Indian chill-out lounges, and on their spacious outdoor terrace.
