Set high above the clouds, surrounded by clean mountain air and wild forests, FORESTIS lies in a sheltered sunny location on the southern slope of the Plose mountain in the South Tyrolean Alps, directly opposite the impressive massifs of the Italian Dolomites. Built on the site of a sanatorium, people have been coming to this area to rest and recuperate for more than 100 years.
Its stunning natural location aside, FORESTIS boasts a fantastic Spa that follows the example of the Celts and their natural doctrine. Here you can experience unique healing treatments inspired by the surrounding forest such as stone pine massages and spruce body scrubs that will help to recharge and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.
Food also plays a very important part in the retreat’s wellness philosophy with all the ingredients for the innovative and healthy dishes sourced directly from the surrounding forest or local farmers.
When not undergoing treatments at the Spa, guests can experience meditation and a form of Celtic Yoga called Wyda, enjoy the property’s various amenities, which include a gym, swimming pool and various saunas, or get involved with outdoor activities such as guided hikes that will help to connect you directly with the healing powers of FORESTIS’ stunning natural surroundings.

Forestis Suites
The 50 m2 suites in the historic building have a bedroom with a kingsize boxspring bed and an adjacent walk-in closet with safe. The separate living area is furnished with a seating area, TV, minibar and a desk. The bathroom has a rain shower, toilet, bidet, hairdryer and all the FORESTIS amenities. The south-facing balcony of the suites offers a direct view of the Dolomites.

Forestis Tower Suite
The 55 m² Tower Suite with terrace features a bedroom with a kingsize boxspring bed, and floor-to-ceiling windows with a direct view of the Dolomites. There is a walk-in closet with safe. The living area is equipped with TV, seating, minibar, desk and a traditional tiled stove. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and rain shower as well as a separate toilet with bidet, hairdryer and all the FORESTIS amenities.

Forestis Penthouse
The two-storey, 200 m² penthouse suite has a bedroom with kingsize boxspring bed and an adjacent walk-in closet with safe. The spacious living area is furnished with seating and TV, a bar, a large dining table, a guest toilet and an open fireplace. A large terrace with table and seating opens to the south. The bathroom is equipped with bathtub, rain shower and separate toilet with bidet, a hairdryer and all the FORESTIS amenities. On the upper floor there is a private pool with sun loungers with dolomites views, a spruce wood sauna and a shower.
The FORESTIS treatments are all based on the principles of the four trees, the four healing woods, the four healing stones and the four tree frequencies. Each of these trees - mountain pine, spruce, larch and Swiss stone pine - possesses various active ingredients, frequencies and material substances that help the human body to regenerate deeply and effectively.
